Hola! Happy Hump day! Woke up today feeling excellent! So much to catch up on...I will start with my fabulous weekend! Boston was great! Boston in summer is a world of difference than boston in the winter. I had fun on both trips, but this had a very different charm. On Friday we were greeted by roshani's brother- Neil. What a gentleman. He picked us up, gave us a mini tour, and dropped us off at the hotel. We checked into the Boston Park Plaza. Hands down the scariest hotel I have ever stayed at... the hallways looked like something straight out of Stephen King's 'The Shining'! That night, rosh and I got ready and headed out. Lol the nightlife in Boston was hilarious. Girls in flipflops, men who can't dance, the 22 year old Obama look alike, Rosh's Italiano, the R&B room...we have a great time just taking in the scene. Headed back to the hotel and indulged in late night pizza. Note to self- nothing beats 99 cent NYC pizza when you have the late night munchies :)
The next day we did the Sam Adams tour, hung out with Rosh's bro and did some shopping, had a delicious lunch at an awesome salad shoppe, me and rosh then literally spent two hours just talking at the boston library (beautiful library). Then we did some more shopping. It was an utterly relaxing day. I think something both of us really needed. Then at night we met up with some peeps for drinks. All I can say is I totally understand what people mean when they say "its feels so right but it's just so wrong". I am just going to ride the wave out till I catch my perfect wave :)
The next day we had a great brunch at joint called 'Flour'. No complaints with the food in boston-it was excellent! Then we walked around, explored the city more. We went to a movie and saw the heat, and then hopped on a bus back to NYC. awful bus ride though. Never taking Bolt again. I thought I was going to die of dehydration because they did not believe in air circulation.
Overall, it was an excellent trip!!! There was one major glitch after. I am not sure what to make of it. At first I was freaking out, but after more deliberation, I am not sure there is much for me to be worried about. Never had this issue before...I think its a joint problem, but we shall see. #awkward #Ishouldwriteabook
