Inept workers =(

I am exhausted, tired, and quite irritated. I made an appointment to talk to an advisor at a nursing school i applied to since i had alot of questions and i found the information they mailed home to me very confusing. My appointment was at 8:30 am and i was there atleast ten minutes earlier, questions in hand and ready to go. I find out at 8:45 that this woman will be directing me and two other students. WTF? She was so confused, she didn't have any of out information in front of her, and she didn't answer half the questions i posed. I really cannot stand people that are inept at thier jobs, and god this woman was clueless. So anyways we sit down and determine what classes i need to take before i can begin and i find out I need five classes before i can start. This in and of itself is not an issue except I three of the classes must be taken in sequence. I have to take Anatomy & Physiology 1 and then only can I take A&P 2 + microbiology. Now to make matters worse the summer session 1 already began, and there is no way i can get into that now. So now i have to find out if i can take A&P 1,2, and microbiology all at the same time. I have to try and get an override from the biology department director this monday (because of course he is out of town) and see what he says. If i don't get the override i cannot begin the program until NEXT JAN 2012!!! WTF??? i am so irritated. the school should have sent out the paperwork as to what i needed to complete sooner so i could have signed up for the summer session. UGH i hope i get the override if not my five year plan is screwed up. Keeping my fingers crossed till monday.

It's been a crazy four years, but today marks the official end of my undergraduate career. How can I sum my time at Rutgers in a blog post? Totally impossible. But I can say this... there is not a thing I would change. I have quite literally grown up with Rutgers. Direction

The roads of our lives come with no maps. No signs to tell us when to yield, when to stop, or when to go. Streets, alleys, and highways are forged as we drive along. There are crossroads, and choices to be made. There are u-turns, and detours. Sometimes we take the expressway, and other times the local. Sometimes its sunny, and sometimes it rains. The "Illegal"

Recently, Vishnu and I watched "Illegal", a 2019 drama film directed by Danish Renzu. This powerful movie tells the story of a young man who comes to the US on a student visa to pursue his dream of becoming a film director. However, his journey is far from easy and the story sheds light on the many struggles he encounters along the way. As I watched the film, I was overwhelmed by a sense of melancholy and gratitude.  The melancholy came mostly from my thoughts of my parents, aunts and uncles, in-laws, and other cherished people in my life who had faced similar challenges when they arrived in the United States nearly three decades ago. Although they seldom discuss their experiences, I know that life was incredibly difficult for them back then. Many of my loved ones worked arduous jobs, sometimes multiple jobs simultaneously, just to ensure that there was food on the table.
